Rebecca "Becky" (Schmittler) Hunley, age 75 of Bridgeport and formerly of Olney, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at Aperion Care of Bridgeport. She was born at home in Albion, IL on January 6, 1939 to Rev. Lawrence E. and Wilma I. (Johnson) Schmittler. She married Melvin Hunley in September of 1954, and he preceded her in death.

Becky grew up in and was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church in Olney and worked at Roadmaster in Olney for many years. She absolutely loved her family! She also enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and being a homemaker.

Surviving family includes: two sons: Tony Hunley of Bridgeport and Tim Hunley, wife Stacey (Hogg) of Olney; one daughter: Connie Hunley, husband James Bingman of Altamont; one son-in-law, Kit Tracy of Oblong, IL; two brothers: Perry Schmittler, wife Sally (Perkins) of Hagerstown, IN and David Schmittler, wife Pam (Walker) also of Hagerstown, IN; one sister- Deborah (Schmittler) LaPointe, husband Al of Jackson, WY; three grandchildren: Tiffany Woods of Olney, Brennan and Jade Tracy of Oblong; 2 great-grandsons: Daylen and William Woods; one niece- Cindi (Schmittler) Conwell of Hagerstown, IN and three nephews: Tracy Schmittler of Richmond, IN, Jason Schmittler of Hagerstown, IN, and Matthew LaPointe of Jackson Hole, WY.

She was preceded in death by: her parents- Lawrence and Wilma Schmittler: husband- Melvin Hunley: one son- Stephen Merle Hunley: two daughters- Mitzi Jo Hunley and Tami Lynn (Hunley) Tracy.

A memorial service was held for Becky on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Bridgeport Wesleyan Church at 5:00 p.m.
