She was born November 6, 1914 in Springfield, Illinois to Ralph and Jane (McKinney) Austin.
Mrs. Hoch worked for the Woodstock Die Casting Company in Woodstock for many years.
She volunteered with the Woodstock Food Pantry; was a member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge for over 50 years; and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her son, Ken (Donna) Jensen of Woodstock; daughter, Barbara (Dave) Boerner of California; grandchildren, Caje (Lisa Siegmann) Jensen, Tom (Shannon) Jensen, Mike (Amy) Jensen, Judy (Michael) Boerner–Rule, Dan (Beth) Boerner, Rich (Colleen) Boerner, Jodi (Kent) Burnside, Janice (Robert) Roach; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a daughter in law, Amy (Dick) Peck.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Louis Jensen; her second husband, George Hoch; sons, Thomas Jensen, Jerome "Bob" Hoch; two brothers, Aaron Austin, Cy Austin; and a sister, Berbal Goldman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service. Rev. Ken Gibson will officiate. Interment will follow in the McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodstock.
