Thomas Allen Jensen, 29, formerly of Woodstock, died Tuesday, June 5, in Odessa, Texas. He had been burned in a fire in his home in McCamie, Texas, and was the second fatality from that fire.
He was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Woodstock, the son of Louis and Cassie (Austin) Jensen.
He served with the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
Survivors are his mother and stepfather, Cassie and George Hoch, Woodstock; a brother, Kenneth Jensen, Woodstock; a stepbrother, Jerome Hoch, Marengo; a stepsister, Barbara Boerner, Seattle, Washington; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Austin, Woodstock.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services were held Saturday, June 9, in the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
Burial was in McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery.
