LITTLE VALLEY - Jamie Alan Decker, of Fourth St. died Thursday (Feb. 20, 2014), at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital, following a long illness.
Born May 22, 1959, in Olean, he was the son of Harry and Esther Kibbler Decker.
Mr. Decker joined the Navy after high school and served from 1978 to 1989, when he suffered from an automobile accident and became disabled. He attended college in Hawaii while stationed there.
Surviving are two brothers, David Decker of Little Valley, and James Decker of Olean; and a niece, Tammie Decker of Olean.
He was predeceased by a sister, Julia Dziekonski.
There will be no visitation. A military grave side service will be held at Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
