Freddie Eugene Hyde went to be with our Lord on February 23, 2014 after a long illness.

He was the son of the late Eugene E. Hyde and Estelle Camp Hyde.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Hyde Reed, Doris Hyde Heird and Patsy Hyde Watts; one brother-in-law, Thomas (Tommy Watts); one brother, Harold Hyde of Mississippi; grandson, Joshua Brockinton, of Beebe. He is survived by his sister, Stella Hyde Ivy; children, Amalea Hyde Buchanan (Steven), Michelle Hyde Treat (Bill); Jason S. Hyde (Bonnie); several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his estranged wife, Jerry Hyde.

After graduating high school at Watson Chapel (Jefferson County) he started his career with Sunbeam Baking Company in Pine Bluff, from there he went to Colonial Bakery Company in Little Rock where he retired. He then was Co-founder and owner of Arkansas Ostomy Supply in Little Rock. Freddie enjoyed golfing and fishing and had three holes in one during his playing days. He also loved the Razorbacks (Go Hogs) football and everything HOGS. His favorites vacation places where Destin, Florida. He was a member of St. James Methodist Church in Little Rock. He loved his church and friends. His special friends were Paul Holderfield, Jimmy Hagler and Bill Chandler.
Our dad was fun, funny and a pain at times, but his generosity led to the success of so many. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the physicians and nurses of the CCU at White County Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service
