Mrs. Jerline Shivers Vaughn, age 87 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Brightmoor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Vaughn was born on May 10, 1926 to Charlie Shivers and Ada Pellie Greene Shivers. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Clinton Vaughn and their son, Perry Vaughn.
Mrs. Vaughn retired from J C Penny and was a member of East Griffin Baptist Church.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her sister, Marion Davis; nephews, Scott Shivers, Stanley Shivers and Earl Shivers; sisters-in-law, Molly Pinson, Kathleen Evans, Hazel Chasteen and Carol Donehoo; brothers-in-law, Winfred Vaughn and Charlie Vaughn; several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Jerline Vaughn will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
A graveside service for Mrs. Vaughn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Westwood Gardens. Reverend Gene Walton will officiate.
