Frances E. Jardanhazy North Huntingdon Frances E. Jardanhazy, 78, of North Huntingdon, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at her residence. Born April 7, 1935, in Greensburg, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Rachael Hixson Hake. She was a member of the Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church in White Oak. Francis graduated from the Greensburg School of Nursing and the Cleveland Clinic, where she earned a degree in surgical nursing and worked at McKeesport Hospital as a surgical nurse. She also worked as the company nurse for the G.C. Murphy Company for more than 10 years. Surviving are her husband, William G. Jardanhazy; a daughter, Thea (Jeffrey) Kestner, of North Huntingdon; a brother, Calvin Hake, of Greensburg; a sister, Ruth Brinkley, of Seattle, Wash.; also surviving are nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sampson's Mills Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Bruce J. Byers presiding. Everyone please meet at church. http://www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.
