Caroline M. Lawrence, 81, of 55 Robinson Drive, New Oxford, died at 6:18 p.m. Thursday at Hanover Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at Basilica of the Sacred Heart, 30 Basilica Drive, Hanover. Burial will be in Conewago Chapel Cemetery. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. today, with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m., at the Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.
Miss Lawrence was born Aug. 13, 1915, in Irishtown. She was the daughter of the late Sarah Jane (Miller) and Stanislaus G. Lawrence Sr.
She was a machine operator for Hanover Shoe for many years before she retired. She was a member of Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
Miss Lawrence is survived by two sisters, Sister Gertrude Marie of Bethlehem and Agnes Lawrence of Chambersburg; and nieces and nephews.
Celebrant for the Mass will be her pastor, Monsignor George W. Rost.
