Ione Elizabeth Thorne was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, Nov 23, 1912. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Thorne of this place.

Ione is a graduate of the eighth grade school. She was united in marriage to Roy Lillibridge and since their marriage they have lived with her parents. She was a member of the Methodist Sunday school and also the Homesteaders. She passed away on Oct. 27, 1928, at the age of 15 years, 11 months and 4 days. She leaves her husband, her little baby daughter, Darline Ione, her father and mother, two brothers, John and Roy, and one sister, Emma.

Funeral services were held in the M. E. church on Monday afternoon. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. W. G. Muhleman. Interment was made in the Rose Hill cemetery.

Among those from out of town here to attend the funeral were Mrs. Matt Lillibridge and daughter, Mrs. Victor Johnson of Waterville, Kans., and Mrs. Ernest Thorne and daughter, Mrs. Ted Crouse and daughter, Mrs. Fielder, Will Orr, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Striet all of Fort Dodge, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Orr of Truman, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Jule Striet and son and daughter of Clarion and Mr. and Mrs. John Thorne of Marshalltown.

The sympathy of all is extended the sorrowing relatives.

The Homesteaders Lodge attended the funeral in a body.
