Mrs. Serena P. Appleton died last evening from the infirmities of age at her home, No. 122 West Seventy-second-st. She was seventy-six years old. Mrs. Appleton was prominent in church circles. She leaves one daughter and four sons, one of whom is Colonel Daniel Appleton, of this city.
