Funeral services for Mrs. Andria Dugas Roger, 83 will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in St. Peters Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.

Msgr. Charles Mallot, pastor of St. John Berchman Church in Cankton, will conduct the services.

Mrs. Roger a native of Carencro and a resident of Church Point, died at 12:25 a.m. today (January 26, 1995)in Doctors' Hospital of Opelousas.

Survivors include; a son, Norwood Roger of Church Point; three daughters, Mrs. Hilton (Shirleen) Savoy of Sunset, Mrs. Rodney (Peggie) Bearb of Carencro and Mrs. Emery (Judy) Leger of Church Point; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tackler Roger; a son, Aaron Roger; her parents, Jeneus Dugas and the former Felicia Menard; five brothers, Louis, Ovey, Leonard, Berchman and Marcel Dugas; and three sisters, Mrs. Anasta (Madeline) Comeaux, Mrs. Linic (Emerite) Babineaux and Mrs. Lessin (Angelle) Babineaux.

Visiting hours are from non-midnight today,(January 26, 1995)and from 8 a.m. Friday until time of services. A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro was in charge of arrangements.
