Jasper – Services for Mrs. Bessie R. Johnston, 75, Route 1, who died at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Medi Center, Springfield, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Knell Mortuary.
The Rev. Bill Hoenshell, minister of Zion Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Paradise Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 7-8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary where the body will lie in state until noon Tuesday when the casket will be closed.
