Lorain Carroll, Marshfield, MO, daughter of David Alonzo and Ollie Myrtle (Pendleton) Crane, was born February 7, 1924 in Meta, MO, and departed this life January 20, 2014. At the time of her passing she was 89 years of age.

Preceding her in death were her parents, and her eleven brothers and sisters: Elmer Crane, Arthur Crane, Ogal Crane, John Crane, Perry Crane, Mildred Howard, "Millie" Martin, Ann Carroll, David Irvin Crane, Ina Belle Crane, and Cleo Jett.

Lorain is survived by husband Kenneth L. Carroll, Marshfield, MO, one daughter; Barbara Carroll, Marshfield, MO, two sons; Kenneth M. Carroll, Marshfield, MO and Dennis J. Carroll and Barbara, Tucson, AZ, four grandchildren; Jonathan Carroll and Katie, Omaha, Neb., Matthew Carroll and Briana, Folsom, CA, Jeremy Carroll, the state of VA, and Barbara Renee Lilley and Joe, Triangle, VA, two great-grandchildren; Addison Carroll and Jacob Lilley.

Gravesides Services for Lorain Carroll will be held at 12:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 in New Bethel Cemetery, New Wollam, MO. Visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2014 in Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to New Bethel Cemetery and left in care of the funeral home.
