Father John came to the United States in 1881 at the age of 19 & worked in Ironwood. He boarded with his sister & her husband, John Junells. Brita Nyman immigrated in 1887 & worked for the Junells as a maid. John & Brita were married 1892 in Ironwood & moved to Felch shortly afterward. They are the parents of 2 daughters & 3 sons: Ida, born in Ironwood; Selma, Theodore & Elvar were boprn in Felch Mountain & Edwin in Metropolitan. (Felch Centennial Book: 1878-1978).
