ADAMSVILLE - Mrs. Betty Gant, 49, died Friday at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 11 am Monday at Shackelford Funeral Home with burial in Mars Hill Cemetery near here. Mrs. Gant, the wife of Tommy Gant, also leaves a son, Ricky L. Davis of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. Brenda Morris of Sparta, Ill., and Mrs. Judy DeShazier of Savannah; three brothers, Dearl Hardin of Counce, Brodie Hardin of Memphis, and Mackie Hardin of Nashville, and two grandchildrenarried Jerold Dean Davis. June 8th 1960.
