"Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie May Brown, 83, mother of Mrs. George K. Meinershagen, will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Breit & Hawkins mortuary in Savannah. The Rev. Richard Ferris will conduct the service and burial will be in the family lot in the Savannah cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Thursday morning at a St Joseph hospital. The widow of the late Dr. W. L. Brown, she had spent most of her life in the Savannah community. She was a member of the Savannah Presbyterian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

In addition to Mrs. Meinershagen, she is survived by a son, Dr. Eugene I. Brown of Savannah, and six grandchildren." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune (Chillicothe, Missouri), September 13, 1968
