"Mrs. Anna Louise Graff was born October 13, 1877, in Andrew county. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Genther. When she was four years old, her parents moved to Fairbury, Neb., where they lived for about twelve years. They then returned to Missouri. Mrs. Graff had since made her home in this county.

She was married May 21, 1899, to L. H. Graff. She was married in the same house in which her mother and father were married. Mrs. Graff loved her home and was happy there, a friend to all who entered. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She did a great deal of reading and naturally was well posted in the affairs of the world and in the current events of the day. She was a lover of all beauty and cultivated it interestedly whenever she found it.

Surviving are her husband, L. H. Graff, and three sisters, Mrs. W. I. Brown of Savannah, Mrs. John Baum of Calhan, Colo., and Mrs. J. W. Stanton of Mound City.

Mrs. Graff was ill but about two weeks and passed away at her home Tuesday, December 27, 1938.

Services were conducted yesterday afternoon, December 29, at the Terhune Mortuary in Savannah in charge of Rev. O. H. Loomis. Burial was in the Savannah cemetery." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), December 30, 1938
