LORANZY AKIN
NORMAN - Loranzy R. Akin, 87, died Wednesday in Norman Municipal Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Mayes Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Cemetary.
Akin was born in Marion Co., Arkansas, moved to Oklahoma City in 1914 and to Norman in 1945. He was a retired farmer and a member of Westside Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Floyd, 1909 Graham, Oklahoma City; two daughters, Mrs. Nell Pennington, 2635 N.W. 13, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Mildred Trad, 2705 N.W. 19, Oklahoma City; two brothers, W. L. of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Jim of Gentry, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
