We, Bee's family, would like to share a little about the life of our beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt & Nana
Mom grew up in southern CA. Her family knew a lot of hard times, but she loved the smell of the beach where she & her sisters would go every chance they got. As a girl, she also loved roller skating. When she was 2yr she'd picked up a butcher knife & the family nicknamed her "Butchie". She was still called "Aunt Butchie" by her nieces & nephews.
Mom was a hard worker throughout her life, as she wanted to provide for her family. She went to school to become a secretary. She worked many years for a doctor; she also waitressed & worked for Wal-Mart.
24 Oct 1959 she wed Milton Leroy "Dutch" Beeson, they were known as 'Bee & Lee' to their many friends throughout their lives together. He was truly the love of her life.
They lived in CA until 1971 when they moved to OK Mom 'the former big city girl' learned how to ride a horse, raise chickens, pigs & calves, plus teach their kids how to grow a garden. An animal lover all of her life, she owned numerous different kinds - dogs, cats, horses & even exotic birds. For awhile she enjoyed the thrill of raising quarter horses & going to horse shows. Later, she started showing dogs. She loved many breeds of dogs, but especially learned to love the small sporting dogs, cocker spaniels. Showing dogs became a passion and she spent many hours traveling and showing with her close friend Donna. Not long after her good friend moved, she retired from showing for a few years, then decided she missed it and she wanted to try again with a smaller breed. She learned to truly love the small 'butterfly dog' Papillons. She & Jody shared this love so they formed their kennel name 'Jo-Bee' ('Jo' from Jody, combined w/'Bee'). She had a lot of fun & success w/her dogs, but especially enjoyed the lasting friendships she formed, particularly /her friends Jeannie, Patsy, Mary & Jim. Even when she could no longer show dogs, she loved going to the shows to watch & visit w/her many friends.
Mom loved her sisters & considered her sister Jody her best friend. They talked several times a week by phone, went on many trips together & visited w/each other on a regular basis, even though living far apart.
Besides showing her dogs, Mom was a voracious reader, enjoyed sewing & crocheting. She was very competitive, earning many trophies as a top rate bowler in her younger years. Family get-togethers often involved cards & board games: Pinochle, Trivial Pursuit & Yahtzee especially.
Mom also enjoyed keeping up with current events & politics, right up to the end. In her later years, she learned the power of prayer, especially as her children went through various health crises. She joined the United Methodist Church of Diamond & enjoyed attending until her health no longer allowed.
After the loss of her sister, Mom said she had a message to be given when her time came: "Memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go ❤ They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole ❤ They give me comfort when I think I am alone ❤
Of all my treasures, your memories are my most precious ❤
❤Always, my love❤"

Mom loved life, her friends and being w/her family. During her illness she received the love & support of her family. Our loss has left a hole in our hearts, but we have cherished memories that time cannot take away.
