Erwin H. Dalaba, 74, of 10 Woodward Ave., died unexpectedly Nov. 26 at his home following along illness.
Born on Dec. 26, 1916, in Bakers Mills, he was the son of the late James and Cordie (Russell) Dalaba.
Mr. Dalaba was employed with the National Lead Co. in Tahawus for 36 years before retiring in 1978.
He married Lorraine (Towne) Dalaba on March 28, 1958.
Three brothers, Cleyon Dalaba, Preston Dalaba and Grover Dalaba, all died before him.
Survivors, besides his wife of 32 years, include two daughters, Mellisa Harris and Ronda Klemple, both of Warrensburg; three brother, Sheldon Dalaba of El Paso, Texas, Glen Dalaba of South Glens Falls, and Gerald Dalaba of Pottersville; five sisters, Mrs. James (Ruth) Robinson of Olmstedville, Althea Monroe of North Creek, Mrs. Walker (Shirley) Wheeler of Pottersville, Loretta Tyrel of North Creek, and Mrs. Levi (Patricia) Mosher of Johnsburg; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and several nieces; nephews and cousins.
Burial was at the Warrensburg Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Holy Cross Church or to the Warrensburg Emergency Squad.
