William E. Mundy Dies At Gallatin
Gallatin—William Estes Mundy, 62, contractor, died Monday night at his home on Hartsville Pike after a brief illness.
Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gallatin Baptist Church with burial in Gallatin Cemetery, Harris-Donoho Funeral Home in charge.
A native of Smith County, Mr. Mundy resided in Sumner County most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Vallie Thompson Mundy; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Applegate, Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Dyer and Mrs. Mary Moncrief, Gallatin; two sons William E. Mundy, Madison, and James Mundy, Gallatin; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Givens, Mrs. Maggie Angle and Mrs. Laura Angle, Smith County, and Mrs. Myrtle Hayes and Mrs. Grace Reasonover, Nashville; two brothers, Frank and Stanton Mundy, Nashville; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
