Rome - Fred L. Boulant Sr., 55, 301 W. Dominick, died February 28, 1946 in a local hospital. He had been ill for two years.
Born in Rome Jan. 10, 1891, Mr. Boulant was a son of the late Alfred and Florence Wheeler Boulant. He married the late Elizabeth Van Dyke November 27, 1920 in Utica. Mrs. Boulant died November 19, 1938.
A veteran of the World War I, Mr. Boulant saw action in France with the 6th Division. He enlisted in may 1918 and was discharged June 17, 1919.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and of St. Peters Church.
Survivors are three sons, Jack A. and Robert E. Boulant, Rome, and Fred L. Boulant Jr. in the Army, two sisters, Mrs. Viola Moores and Mrs. Dennis Coleman, Rome, and Harry J. Boulant, Syracuse, and one grandchild, Jack A., Rome.
Funeral services will be held Monday from the home of his sister, Mrs. Dennis Coleman, 727 W. Dominick and at St. Peters Church.
