Rome - Mrs. Stella D. Cole, 39, died at her home in Syracuse October 1, 1939. She had been ill one year.
The daughter of the late James and Florence Wheeler Barber, she was born in Rome and was married to Layton Cole 20 years ago. Mr. Cole died November 27, 1934. Mrs. Cole had lived in Syracuse since that time and prior to that lived at Cortland.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Jane Cole, Syracuse, two half sisters, Mrs. Viola Moores and Mrs. Dennis Coleman, both of Rome, one brother, Harry Barber, Syracuse, and one half brother Fred Boulant, Rome.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Mrs. Coleman, 727 W. Dominck Wednesday
