Mrs. Sara Weddle Garner, 76, wife of Squire C.P. Garner, died Friday. Mrs. Garner was born Sept. 21, 1872, and most of her life was spent in and around Nancy where she made her home at the time of her death. Her husband served several terms as magistrate in the Third Magisterial District. Mrs. Garner was active in the affairs of her community and was respected and admired by all who knew her. She was a devout Christian and a good mother and wife.

Surviving are her husband, two sons, Tom and Minnie Garner, and two daughters, Mrs. P. Turpin and Mrs. Clif Conner, all of Nancy. Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Chesterview Baptist Church by Dr. R.F. Jasper with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
