MRS. R. A. NIBLOCK PASSES AWAY
There passed away on Thursday, March 27th, Mrs. R. A. Niblock, one of Hill End's most respected residents. She had been ailing for some time, having passed through a very serious operation during the past year at Innisfail Hospital. Towards the end she suffered a great deal, but bore up bravely and was always cheerful. Mrs. Niblock was born in Scotland, September 16, 1870, and was married to Mr. R. A. Niblock at Hill End in 1894. She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wells, her mother having passed away in 1885 in Ontario and her father in B.C. in 1907. Besides her sorrowing husband, she leaves behind four children, Mrs. H. Densmore, Canora, Sask.; John, B.C.; Annie and Alex at home, all of whom were with her at the last, also several brothers and sisters, to whom is extended the sympathy of the whole community. There was a short service at the house, conducted by the Rev. J. Lloyd Hughes. A large number of friends and neighbors gathered to pay their last respects to one who had always been so faithful to help where help was needed. The funeral service was held at the Horn Hill church, and her minister spoke very touchingly on the beautiful life that had just gone on before. Interment was in the Horn Hill Cemetery, where, amid a profusion of flowers, the dear one was laid away to rest, to await the glorious dawning of another life. She was President of the Ladies' Aid for a number of years, and took an active part in the Hill End Church work, and was an ardent member of the Presbyterian church from girlhood.
"Not lost, just gone before."
