The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.
Mr. Blythe was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, and retired from Lance Company as a baker after 40 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Blythe of Needsville, TX; daughters, Mrs. Pam Curtis and Mrs. Melissa Poole, both of Charlotte, and Ms. Sharon Miller of Oxon Hill, MD; brother, Bill Blythe; and sisters, Mrs. Katherine M. Mullis and Mrs. Inez B. Burkhardt, all of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
