85, of 4427 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, died Monday, March 23, 1998, at University Hospital.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 1998, at St. Marks Episcopal Church, Huntersville, with the Rev. William Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.
Mr. Blythe was born in Mecklenburg County, NC, and retired from Lance Company as a baker after 40 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Blythe of Needsville, TX; daughters, Mrs. Pam Curtis and Mrs. Melissa Poole, both of Charlotte, and Ms. Sharon Miller of Oxon Hill, MD; brother, Bill Blythe; and sisters, Mrs. Katherine M. Mullis and Mrs. Inez B. Burkhardt, all of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
