Verona - Services for Thelma A. Brigman, 58, Verona, were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Williamson Chapel, Cassville, with Veda Shepard officiating. Burial was in McCullough Cemetery near Viola.
Mrs. Brigman died at 5:30 Tuesday, Jan. 22, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, following a long illness.
A native of Cato, she moved to Verona nine years ago from the McDowell community.
Survivors include her husband, Loren "John"; three sons, Darrell of Mr. Vernon, Doyle of Aurora and Jimmy of Verona; four daughters, Beatrice Kenna of Long Beach, Calif., Jo Ann Wallace of Mt. Vernon, Sharon Lawson of Verona, Rosa Lee Brigman of Purdy; four brothers, Leroy "Sam" Blankenship of Ukiah, Calif., Stanley Blankenship of Jenkins, Cleo Blankenship of Marionville and Troy Blankenship of Sawyer, Ks.; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
