The Wanette Enterprise, Wanette, Oklahoma
Mrs. E. C. Petrie has been very sick for the past several days and on account of her age she is not expected to recover unless she has decided change for the better in the next few days. Her son George of Shawnee; Will of Stratford; Charles and Frank of Oklahoma City; and Henry of Purcell are here with her this week.

Mrs Petrie Dead
Mrs Elizabeth C Petrie, mother of Wm Petrie of this city was born July 31st 1839, and died at her home in Wanette, Okla., last Saturday morning at 1:45 o'clock.
She was seventy two years old and had been ill several weeks.
Her sons, six in number were around her bedside when the death Angel came to claim his own.
The funeral services were conducted at the United Brethren church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment followed at the Wanette cemetery at 3:00 o'clock.

Mrs. Elizabeth C Petrie died Saturday morning, September 30th, 1911 at Wanette. Death came at 1:45 o'clock. Funeral services were held at the United Brethern Church Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Interment was made at the Wanette cemetery.Mrs. Petrie was born July 31st, 1839 and was aged 72 years, 2 months. She lived in Lexington removing to Wanette some eight years ago.
