Will Petrie Buys Drug Store
A deal was consummated Tuesday, Dec 1, whereby Will Petrie, an enterprising and congenial young pharmacist, came in possession and ownership of the Petrie Drug Store owned by his brother, Charley Petrie.
Prior to the purchase Mr. Petrie was in the employ of his brother as manager of the institution, and now that he has assumed full control and proprietorship of the establishment is as modest and unassuming as before.
Like the live, wide-awake businessman he is, however, he immediately placed a contract with the Enterprise for a larger amount of advertising space.
Charley Petrie was quite the talented carpenter. He owned the building in Wanette which was formerly occupied by G. R. Flinn, Douglass Hotel later known as the Taylor Hotel, he would do all the repairs and remodeling himself.
