Mrs. Sarah E. Henson died Monday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Doak, who lives several miles north of town. The funeral took place at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning and the body was brought here for burial.
Mrs. Henson was born in the state of Virginia and soon would have been 77 years old. She was married to D. H. Henson in Virginia and came with him to Missouri in 1854. They lived at Corder, Lafayette County for some time.
The children left by the deceased are Mrs. W. W. Doak, of this county, Mrs. Mollie Johnson of Mayview, Mrs. Ida Smith of Athens, Alabama, James H. Henson of Corder, and C.R. Henson of Braymer, Mo.
Mrs. Henson had long been a member of the Methodist Church and was a woman of reproachable Christian life.
