Mrs. Guy F. Crist, 66, Of Jefferson, Succumbs
Jefferson – Mrs. Florence J. Crist, 66, wife of Guy F. Crist, Spring Grove RD 3, this place, died at 7:10 a.m. yesterday in Hanover General Hospital, where she had been a patient the past three weeks.
A daughter of the late John and Rosetta Hoff Sterner of Jefferson, she was a member of Bethlehem EUB Church and Sunday school, Jefferson.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Russell F. Crist, 228 ½ North Franklin Street, Hanover; three daughters, Mrs. Edward R. Mummert, 34 School Avenue, and Mrs. Geneva Groft, 2 School Avenue, both of Hanover, and Mrs. John Little, Spring Grove RD 3; six grandchildren, a brother, Anthony Sterner, Baltimore, and three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Jacobs, Hanover RD 3; Mrs. Harry Imhoff, East Berlin, and Mrs. John Toot, Abbottstown RD 1.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sauter Funeral Home, North Main Street, Spring Grove, with Rev. Dr. Earl E. Redding, assistant pastor of Fourth EUB Church, York, officiating in the absence of her pastor, Rev. Earl E. Kauffman. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery.
