Leo Hines, 56, Indianapolis, died unexpectedly at his home Friday. A native of Hamilton County and former resident of Sheridan, he had lived in Indianapolis the past 25 years.
His parents were Emery and Cora (Hubbartt) Hines and he was born Feb. 18, 1920. His wife, Lily, died in 1970.
He was employed as the farm supply manager of Central Soya of Indiana Inc., at Indianapolis and was a veteran of WWII.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mary Catherine Wallace, Sheridan; Mrs. Helen McCullough, Arcadia and Mrs. Jean Smith, Noblesville and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Jesse Griffith will be in charge of the funeral which is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan. Interment will be in Crown View Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
