Dies Saturday
At Age 77
Sheridan - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hinshaw Funeral Home for Emery L. Hines, 77, Sheridan who passed away Saturday night at the Sheridan Rest Home after an illness of two years.
Rev. Jesse Griffith will officiate and burial will follow in Crown View Cemetery. Friends will be received at the mortuary after 4 o'clock today.
Mr. Hines was engaged in farming and later was an employee of Indiana Condensed Milk Vo. and Wallace Grain.
He was married to Cora Hubbartt and her death occurred in 1942. Mr. Hines was a life resident of the county and was born at Boxley, son of Frank and Mary Tindell Hines.
Survivors are four children, Mrs. Lloyd Wallace, Sheridan; Mrs. Merle McCullough, Arcadia; Mrs. Arthur Smith, Noblesville; Leo Hines, Indianapolis; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Noble Hines, Brandenton, Fla. French Hines, Tampa, Fla. and a sister, Mrs. Edith McGinn, Decatur, Ill.
