Elaine Chloe Anderson Nelson, 77, passed away and returned home to her Heavenly Father July 5, 2004.

Our precious mother, sister, aunt, and friend was born Feb. 6, 1927 in Salt Lake City on a cold winter day.

She was blessed with a loving mother, Irene Isabelle Archer and father, Ira Clifford Anderson.

She was a member of the LDS Church. She graduated from West High School in 1943. She worked for Morrison Miller Lumber Company in the billing department. After that she worked in IBM Dept. for the U.S. Treasury.

During World War II she joined the USO to help serve her country. In the fall of 1946 a darling Spudnut Shop opened on 3rd West. She was hired by Stan Nelson (The Spudnut Man) they were married shortly after on Sept. 10, 1947.
