Ralph Lewis McLain was born January 13, 1925 and passed away on November 9, 2013.
Born to Opal & Charles McLain in Davis city, Iowa he graduated from the Davis City High School in 1942.
Ralph joined the Merchant Marines and served for 11 years. At one time he started a 100 day tour leaving Port Arthur, TX. and going around the world. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He married Donna Logsdon of Jefferson and from that union four children were born; Zachary, Tony, Joe and Athena.
The family participated in horse shows, water skiing, golfing, fishing, camping, hiking & biking.
Ralph worked for Telydine Wah Chang, for 33 years. He was a member of the Community of Christ Church and remained faithful to that covenant.
He is survived by his wife Donna of 58 years, his children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Preceding Ralph in death were his parents and 2 brothers Don & Harrold.
