William (Bill) married Agnes Walls in Winnipeg February 6, 1914.

William and Agnes had two children, James Enos, born January 31, 1915, and Alice Elizabeth, born August 8, 1916.

William built a new home on his farm in 1925. James Phillips, a master carpenter from Paynton was the builder. His helper was Gus Shrank. The new home had a Delco electric battery system with many batteries and a generator in the basement.

In 1927, William, Agnes, Jim and Alice took the train to Montreal and sailed on the SS Andania to Scotland to visit the Walls relatives.

William had a lot of horses and a good driving team named Bee and Babe.

In 1943 William and Agnes moved to Paynton. William passed away February 7, 1975 at the age of 88. Agnes passed away July 6, 1982 at the age of 89.

OBITUARY: WILLETT
"William Arthur Willett of Paynton, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Maidstone Union Hospital on Friday, Feb. 7, 1975 at the age of 88 years. Mr. Willett was born at Treherne, Manitoba on June 16, 1886. He homesteaded at Landis, Saskatchewan before coming to the Grand Cheviot District in 1909. On Feb 16, 1917 he married Agnes Walls and continued living in Grand Cheviot until moving to Paynton in 1943. Mr. Willett has served as secretary-treasurer for the Grand Cheviot School Board, as councilor and Reeve of Paynton municipality, as member of the Paynton United Church Board and was at one time a member of the Maidstone Hospital Board.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his loving wife Agnes, one daughter: Alice (Mrs. L. Duffee) of Maidstone, 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by an only son, James, in 1963.
Funeral services for the late William Arthur Willett of Paynton were conducted from the United Church, Paynton, on Monday, Feb. 10, 1975 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Hazel Heffren officiating….. The Pallbearers were the Messrs: James Willett, John Willett, Enos Willett, Donald Willett, Garry Bannerman and Russell Duffee.
Interment followed at the Paynton Cemetery.
