Mrs. Minnie E. Mars, wife of L.A. Mars of East Spruce street, died at the family residence at 12 o'clock yesterday, after an illness of two months. For several weeks it had been realized that her recovery was impossible, although her condition just prior to death was such as to almost inspire home that she would live many years longer.
Mrs. Mars was the thirteenth and youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. William Mack. She was born in Indiana county thirty-one years ago. Her father died in that county in 1878. The family removed to Titusville several years ago. Mrs. Mars was a member of the Presbyterian church of Titusville and of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union. She was widely known and beloved by all of her acquaintances. She is survived by her husband and a little son, Lawrence, 4 years of age; also by her aged mother, Mrs. Martha J. Mack of East Spruce street, and by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. H. E. St. Clair and William Mack of Billings, O.T.; Mrs. W.P. Campbell of Latrobe; Robert Mack of Buffington, Pa; Mrs. Albert Kerr of Gresham; J.P. Mack, D.C. Mack and Mrs. S.M. Conover of this city.
Services in her memory will be conducted at the residence Friday morning... Interment will be made in the cemetery at Gresham.
