He is proceeded in death by his mother, Twyla F. Paul, his father, Willard Bunger, his stepfather, Don Paul, 2 sisters Ruthanna (Bunger) Proffett, Shirley Mae (Bunger) Huddleston, brother-in-law, Floyd Scott Myron, brother-in-law, Henry Speed Proffett and nephew, Daniel Huddleston.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Bunger, sons James C. Bunger, Jr. (Janice), Jonathan W. Bunger, and Jeffrey Allen Bunger (Amy), grandchildren, Danielle Marie Bunger, Brandie Nichole Bunger, Breanna Bunger, Leanna Bunger, Alexandea Jeffrey Bunger.
He will be buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
There will be a memorial Service, September, 28, 2013 at 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Park in Cambridge City shelter at the ball diamond with a free-will collection.
James worked at Kidde Manufacturing, now Steelworks MEG.
He was an donor to IU School of Medicine.
