Mae E. Cummings, 89, of Denver Nursing Home and formerly of Paradise, died Monday, December 12, 2005, at the Ephrata Community Hospital. Her husband Clyde J. Cummings died in 1995.
She was born in Paradise Township to the late William and Dora Dutt Eckman. A member of the ILGWU, Mae worked as a seamstress for D Imperio Fashions for over 35 years. She was a member of Living Stones Fellowship in Peach Bottom.
Surviving are her sons, Clarence of Rothsville, Melvin of Leola, Marvin of Paradise and Kenneth of Lancaster; daughters, Nora Faiola of Reamstown and Loretta Good of Ephrata; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Her daughters, Judy Mowrer and Helen Cummings, son, John and brother, Howard Eckman, preceded Mae in death.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Friday, December 16th, at Calvary Monument Cemetery, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA, with The Reverend Raymond L. Deiter officiating. Brown Funeral Home, Paradise, PA.
