Beloved husband and loving father, Adolph M. Balboa, a Korean War veteran, went to be with our Lord in Heaven on Saturday, November 9, 2013.

He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Cecilia Wolfe Balboa, his son Adolph A. Balboa and son-in-law, Michael C. Gonzales.

He is survived by their children: Cecilia Balboa Gonzales, Cynthia (Javier) Hernandez, Kathleen (Carlos) Flores, Theresa Balboa, Elizabeth (Paul) Bankston, Joseph Balboa, Peter Balboa, Marcelo (Pamela) Balboa and Marcel (Marisol) Balboa; thirty grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; sibling: Celia (Michael) Gonzalez.

Adolph and Cecilia fulfilled their wedding vows to stay together until "death do us part" and they did, serving as an example of deep love and commitment to their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They were truly loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 12th beginning at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Porter Loring on McCullough.

Pallbearers will be Joseph B. Balboa, Peter A. Balboa, Marcelo Balboa, Marcel Balboa, Adolph Balboa, and Christopher Hernandez; Rodney Sanchez, Carlos Flores, Adam Balboa, Aaron Balboa, James Balboa, and Javi Hernandez.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Alamo Hospice, 3201 Cherry Ridge Rd., Suite C-313, San Antonio, TX 78230.
