Converse County, Wyoming mortuary records and Lucy's obituary in the Douglas Budget Nov. 29, 1945 show she was born August 17, 1878 in Denison, Kansas and died in Douglas, Wyoming on Nov. 24, 1945 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Townsend. Mortuary records show her father as _____ Mulane, born in Kansas and mother, _____ Renfra, born in Kansas.

NOTE: Her father was actually William R. Mulanax, and her mother was actually Mary Ann Kincaid - the informant made an error showing her as a Renfra. (Change made by Ardath Brown, [email protected], granddaughter, Jan. 2016)

Her husband passed away about eight years ago and she had come to Douglas to be with her son and daughter. She is survived by four children: Mrs. Frank Zibell of Holton, Kansas; Mrs. Ray McKinsey of Salt Lake City, Utah and Mrs. Townsend and William Hagar of Douglas, Wyoming; also eight grandchildren, three of whom are in the armed service overseas.
