The funeral will be at 2 pm. today at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Cannon officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. McElveen, a native of Bulloch County, was a homemaker and a teacher. She was a member of Sylvania First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harry McElveen, Cumming, and Alan McElveen, Gainesville; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rimes McElveen, Zackary McElveen, Bill McElveen, Tony Hall, Lamar Blalock and James Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Sylvania Manor.
