Adrian O. Bowder, 82, of Falconer passed away Tuesday (October 29, 2013) in the Emergency Room of WCA Hospital.
He was born March 25, 1931 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota the son of the late James S. Bowder and Elizabeth Stearns Niebolte.
Adrian attended Falconer High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving from 1952 to 1955 in Korea. Prior to retirement he was employed by Union National for 37 years retiring in 1994.
Adrian was a member of Ross Mills Church of God and in earlier years was a member of the church's softball team. He was a Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins Fan. He enjoyed his family, playing softball and loved his cats.
Surviving are his wife Lois A. Burch Bowder whom he married September 14, 1962; a daughter Robin (Kris) Olson of Frewsburg; a son Darren (Lynn) Bowder of Colfax, NC; four grandchildren: Rebecca Steen, Brandin (Lauren) Smith, Latara Bowder, Philip Olson; a great grandson Aaron Steen; a brother James (MaryJo) Bowder of Mankato, MN; three sisters: Virginia (Melvin) Stavrum of Clearwater, MN, Alice (Joe) Janchar of Duluth, MN, Betty (Peter) Stewart of St. Paul, MN; and his special friend Doug (Brenda) Rissel of Falconer.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: John Bowder and Frank Niebolte, and his stepfather Henry Niebolte.
