HILTON HEAD ISLAND -- William Stevens Tiffany, 78, died Nov. 26 at home.
William was born in Brooklyn, Pa., and moved to Hilton Head Island in 1987 from Middletown, N.J. He graduated from Brooklyn Pennsylvania High School and Mercersburg Academy.
He served in the Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World War II.
As a profession, he worked as a sales associate for AMP, Inc., in New Jersey. He was a member of Robert Burns Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Consistory and Zembo Shrine Temple, all of Harrisburg, Pa.
He was married to Sara Carpenter Tiffany.
He left a brother, Robert E. Tiffany and two sisters, Margery T. Smith of Brooklyn and Doris T. Gere of North Syracuse, N.Y.
