Bladen and Elizabeth FOSTER Ashby lost their seventh child Arthur James Bladen Ashby, in 1872, when he was only three years old. Arthur was the second family member to be buried in the Prairie City Cemetery. Elizabeth's mother, Jane NELSON Foster had been buried there two years earlier.
