Born July 9, 1860 at Johnsburg, he married Miss Mary Thomie Nov. 28, 1883, and she passed away in 1932. For the past 16 months Mr. Morgan made his home with his son.
Survivors are seven children, Henry and Peter, New Holstein; Anton, Sheboygan; Louis of Byron; Mrs. Louis Rieden, St. Peter; John of Johnsburg and Mrs. John Pitzen, Fond du Lac; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Jacob Kraut,(sic) Charlesburg; Mrs. Thorina Birkholz, Jericho, and Steve Morgan of St. Joe.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home here and at St. John’s church, Johnsburg. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Father Walter Morgan of Milwaukee, a grandson of the deceased, will conduct the services.
