Sheboygan Press, Mon. Jan. 3, 1955, p. 14:7. Stephen Morgen, 90, of Rt. 1, St. Cloud, a retired farmer, died early Saturday morning at his home where he had been residing with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Blonien. He had been in failing health for 11 months. A son of the late John and Gertrude Weinreis Morgen, he was born at Johnsburg, Dec. 13, 1864. His wife, the former Christina Lisowe, Jericho, died Feb. 28, 1941. The couple had always lived on the St. Cloud farm. Mr. Morgen was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, St. Joe.

Surviving, in addition to the daughter, Mrs. Blonien (Rose), are one grandchild and one great-grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Kaut, Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Lisowe Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and at 10 o'clock with the requiem mass at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening and until the time of services Tuesday morning.

Funeral services for Stephen Morgen, 90, retired St. Cloud farmer, who died the past Saturday, were held Tuesday morning at the Lisowe Funeral Home, St. Cloud, followed by the requiem mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joe. The Rev. Walter Morgen of Menomonee Falls was celebrant of the mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Leo, Louis and Edward Morgen, Henry Schmitz, Henry Wollersheim and Ray Wirth. Honorary pallbearers were William and Edward Ebertz, Alfred and Claude Petrie, Christ Fuhrmann and Herman Steffes.
