Graveside services for Mrs. Roselle (Ashburn) Newberry, 84, of Anderson,
IN, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct.
1, 2005, at Good Hope Cemetery with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.
Mrs. Newberry died Monday, Sept. 26 at her home. She was retired from the
Guide Division at General Motors Corporation, attended North Anderson Church
of God, and was a member of the UAW Local 663.
Born July 17, 1921, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late
Arthur and Pearl (Beaty) Ashburn. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Newberry; 4 brothers, Andrew
Ashburn, Ernie Ashburn, Louie Ashburn, and Pete Ashburn; and a sister,
Magdeline Miller.
