STATESBORO, Ga.---Mrs. Lucile B. Aldred, age 84, died Wednesday at Brown's Health Care. Mrs. Aldred was born September 9, 1929, in Bulloch County to her parents, David and Stella Beasley. She attended Marvin Pittman, where she was a member of the Class of 1946. After high school and college, Mrs. Aldred went to work for Bulloch County Hospital, where she was a business office manager. She enjoyed playing bridge with friends and loved to play the piano. She was a member of First Baptist Church and also the Camilla Boyd Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Frank Aldred; both of her parents and her two sisters, Margaret Mallard and Ann Walters.

She is survived by her brother, Reggie (Joann) Beasley of Statesboro; her brother-in-law, George L. Walters of Statesboro; her nieces, Chantel (Jack) Webb of Statesboro and Debbie (Hugo) Rossignol of Jacksonville, FL; and her nephews, Andy (Anne-Marie) Aldred and Walt (Hope) Aldred, both of Statesboro. Many extended family members also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Eastside Cemetery with Dr. John Waters officiating.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Statesboro at 108 North Main Street, Statesboro, GA 30458.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of arrangements.
