He was the husband of Avis M. (Leach) Achorn.
Born in Bar Harbor, Maine, he was a son of the late Roland Achorn, Sr. and the late Kathleen (Hollis) Achorn.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, a son, three grandsons, two sisters and two brothers.
